As part of an initiative by the Cranford Police Department, with the support of our school counselor, and in conjunction with the Hillside Avenue School PTA, we will be presenting the middle school students with a carnival experience to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is at the end of October and promotes substance abuse awareness and education.
On October 27th during your child’s PE classes they will be participating in educational games with the ability to win prizes, enjoying popcorn and cotton candy and hearing a guest speaker. Additionally, during the week, our peer leaders will be making announcements to promote smarter decision making and substance abuse awareness.
